During a Zee Music Company YouTube video with Nana Patekar, Aamir confessed.
He admitted that he smokes a pipe despite quitting drinking during the candid conversation. Aamir admits to having many bad habits and that indiscipline is his biggest personal struggle.
Aamir said he’s indisciplined, so Nana asked if he’d be on time for the shoot. Aamir replied, “Yes. Because of that, I’m punctual. My films aren’t indisciplined, but my life is.”
Nana then asked Aamir about his “bad habits”. Aamir replied, “I smoke a pipe. Before quitting, I drank. I used to drink all night. My problem is that I’m an extremist, so I keep doing it. I know it’s bad. Although I know I’m doing wrong, I can’t stop myself.”
Aamir called himself “sharply disciplined” and said he doesn’t have these issues on film. Nana advised Aamir to work constantly.
